That means that 10% of the people have 90% of the talent. Unfortunately, we are not in the 10% category. However, the rest of us are still better than 90% of the politicians.

Self fulfilling prejudice?

Today in northern Afghanistan, thousands of protesters stormed the U.N. compound killing at least 12 people. Two of the victims were reportedly beheaded. The reason for the protest? The mob was offended that LAST month the reverend Terry Jones threatened to burn a copy of the Koran, because the Koran preached hatred. The reverend did not burn the Koran pubically as he first threatened. Later rumors surfaced that the church, Dove Outreach, with which reverend Terry Jones is associated did so. So what is to be learned here? That the Koran does not condone violance, or that Christianity espouses tolerance?

    I had to think about what I wanted to say here, and I think I found it:

    "There's no accounting for the actions of stupid people."

    I hope that wasn't too tolerant or hateful...
