Been reading a lot about the failure of the Paul Ryan Budget today (the RINOs who voted against it are Olympia Snowe, Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, and Scott Brown.) Rand Paul also voted against it, although his reasoning was different, saying the cuts weren't deep enough.
Not crazy about it, but it's still the most sensible plan offered and we need a plan.
While I'm worried about the fact that the country is falling apart financially (It is not broke, broke is when you have no money. The USA is 14 trillion dollars in debt and digging deeper every day.) I'm just as worried about the fact that the entire election for this cycle is likely to be focused only on this problem if no concrete budget is decided.
That is what the democrats want as so many of their voting base have no sense of fiscal reality. If this isn't resolved and remains the center of attention it increases Zeroman's chances of re-election.
And if that happens the 2016 election won't be about the budget, it'll be about fighting terrorism within our borders.
