Government Healthcare

Things are looking up in the U.K. They've got their waiting time for a hospital down to 18 weeks. Mostly. Sort of.

Of course, that doesn't mean you'll actually be treated in that time. Just seen. A colleague of mine tells me his mother waited 18 months for a surgery. Good that she wasn't in pain all that time. Except she was. But she was still able to get around. Except she wasn't.

Government intervention improves nothing.
