Wouldn't it be nice if they just let it rest as is?

Why is nothing ever actually over in government? They held a vote, the bill to increase the debt limit was a spectacular failure, now move on to something else.

There should be no further discussion. Zeroman and his minions need to figure out another way to pay the bills. Sorry, dudes, you forced the vote and got a well deserved spanking and now borrowing is out.

Wouldn't it be nice if it actually worked that way?
