Couple Guilty in Case of Girl Strangled by Python

Anyone who has read this is likely aware that I'm not fond of snakes. At all. But if the reports are correct this was directly the fault of the snake owners.

And the python had escaped repeatedly from its tank in their home in the Sumter County town of Oxford. Feeding and maintaining a safe habitat for any pet is the responsibility of the owner.

Making sure your child is safe is the responsibility of any parent.

These people failed in both. I'm glad they rejected the plea bargain.
