Only Ones

This sure makes Opa-locka sound like a lovely place to live.  At least Florida has a relatively decent attitude toward self protection, since you aren't likely to get any protection from this police force.

First, it probably doesn’t help that the Opa-locka Police Department itself is an infamously corrupt mess. In 2011, there were 41 internal investigations, which, when you consider the fact that the department only has 68 officers, is staggering. Furthermore, the department has a high turnover rate. Since first joining the Opa-locka force in 1993, Sgt. Bosque has had 16 different police chiefs.

I know it's difficult to get rid of a bad union cop, but with his record how did he get hired in the first place?  Even a corrupt police chief should have regarded him with a big hairy eye, if for no other reason than that he would call attention to the corruption that seems to be rampant on that police force.
