I've seen a lot glee and heard a lot of giggling about the fact that there was no invitation to the Royal Wedding sent to the White House. I don't see the humor. An invitation of that sort is an acknowledgment of the relationship between the U.K. and the U.S.
If there were an invitation and Zeroman and his spouse were unable to attend, unlike with the average wedding, someone else would be delegated to do so. Not to represent Zeroman, but to represent us, The People of the United States of America.
In two years Zeroman has thrown enough of our allies under the bus and bowed to enough of our enemies that we have been ostracized. As most people know, a lot of business gets done in social settings. And we're no longer on the guest list.
You are correct. I can almost guarantee you that three years ago, the Bush family would have been invited on behalf of America.
