Proud members of the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy. We strongly believe in personal freedom, responsibility, and gun rights. We also believe in the 90/10 theory. That means that 10% of the people have 90% of the talent. Unfortunately, we are not in the 10% category. However, the rest of us are still better than 90% of the politicians.

Enough to go around

Over the last 40 years there have been a lot of changes in this country. In the political realm, the financial world, the religious area. Those changes have led us to where we are today and that's, at least in part, our fault. By our I mean the conservative, producing class. We got so caught up in making a living, taking care of our families and living our lives that many of us didn't look at the big picture. It's not enough to take care of your family now if their future is destroyed.

Looking at this country now I see that we sat back and allowed the liberals and communists to take over education, at all levels, essentially without protest.

We allowed welfare to grow from a helping hand to a lifestyle for generations of people.

We listened to Dr. Spock and invested in our children's emotions rather than their intellect.

We ignored the southern border until it became a crisis.

We gave our children permission to watch the programming and movies and listen to the music of thugs and drug addicts and Michael Moore. We paid for this dreck with allowances that granted those same thugs and drug addicts and Michael Moores the wealth to increase the size of their platform.

We allowed Barack Obama.

Over at TL in Exile is a post discussing the fact the Obama has the blood of many on his hands. And he does, I don't disagree with that statement. But he is not the only one. The media with their lies and cover ups that fooled some into thinking this man was presidential material, the liberal elite who regard the deaths of thousands as a means to push their agenda. They bear some of the responsibility for this as well.

And so do we. Those of us who didn't pay attention or thought that casting a vote would be enough or that someone else would do something. Government can't be left on autopilot. Democracy requires more than filling out a ballot.
