This is an older house built on a hill and it has its challenges. The kitchen actually does tilt toward the center (no, it's not my fault) as we found once we got everything out. Previously it was just covered up by the way the cabinets were built, but I kind of think it should be fixed. LBB is in favor of covering it the way it was before.
After much patient advice from KurtP, I crawled under the house (yes, it did squick me out TYVM) and I think we could fix it, but LBB doesn't agree. So I called a contractor who should be here to look at it today. It shouldn't delay us by much as there are still things we can do while waiting for the contractor. And what's another million dollars in the overall scheme of things?
None of this funny money is going to be worth the paper it's printed on soon, anyway, so might as well strike while the striking's good.
