I was once offered a job by the Kuskokwim Native Association, living at Bethel, Alaska. KNA has a hospital at Bethel and clinics in many outlying areas. The clinics are opened one day a month and the job would have entailed flying out to hold the clinics. At the time I was keeping up my pilot's license and it would have been the perfect job.
I was seriously interested, but had an ill parent so was needed here. It sounded like a really great job though, even for someone who dislikes holding clinic as much as I do.
And just think, things like this would be happening in my neighborhood...
