In prescription writing there are certain rules and regulations that must be followed. Prescriptions must list the medication, dose, how it's taken, how often and total quantity being prescribed. (Note to the person who stole a prescription pad from my office, Morphine is not prescribed in quarts.)
Many physicians let nurses and other employees fill out the form and just sign the scripts themselves.
If you are one of them, please read before signing.
Though technically correct, instructing a patient to "Suck before procedure" is neither adequate nor acceptable.
