California is seriously over regulated. But most people there don't realize it, having never lived in the free world. Nonetheless, it was a nice visit.

Stayed at my usual hotel:
Buddy Jim used to sleep on the boat three days a week. Now that he's engaged, not so much. I have a feeling it might not be available on my next trip as fiancee isn't fond of boats, but I enjoyed it this time. Even got in a sail to Catalina and a little diving. A much needed and appreciated break.
