The symphony was nice. Severance Hall is a beautiful art deco building, the Strauss was lovely, the Mozart ok. I'm not generally a fan of Mozart anyway and the vocals always seem over the top. Although last night the sopranos were good and the baritone was excellent. The tenor merely improved the scenery.
Today was spent at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, which was a little disappointing. But then what can you say about a music museum that has a Yoko Ono exhibit?
Did you know Cleveland has a Polka Hall of Fame, too? I'm going to have to give that a miss this trip, but maybe next time.
